This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Bazar (“we”, “us”, “the app”) collects,
uses, and protects your information when you use the Easy Bazar mobile app and
related services. Easy Bazar connects customers with local shops for ordering
groceries and daily essentials, with delivery or pickup.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
Phone number — used to create your account and sign you in with a one-time
password (OTP) sent by SMS.
Name and profile details you choose to provide (and, for shopkeepers, your
shop’s name, address and photo).
Location and delivery address
With your permission, we use your device’s GPS location to help you pin your
exact delivery point on the map and to show shops near you.
The delivery address and map coordinates you save so orders reach the right place.
Orders and activity
Your cart, orders, order status, and (optionally) a short voice note you may
record at checkout to describe your order to the shop.
Photos (shopkeepers)
Shopkeepers may upload product photos. Text recognition used to auto-fill
product details runs on your device; the photo is uploaded only to be shown as
the product image.
Device and technical information
A push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you
order updates.
Diagnostic information — such as device model, Android/Google Play services
status, network type, and app logs — which is collected and sent only when
troubleshooting is requested, to help us fix problems.
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and secure your account and sign you in.
To process, deliver, and update you about your orders.
To show relevant shops and products near your location.
To send order notifications and important service messages.
To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
With shops you order from — your name, delivery address/location, phone number,
order details, and any voice note — so they can prepare and deliver your order.
Service providers that operate parts of the app on our behalf: an SMS gateway
(to send OTP codes), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and Google
Maps (map display).
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users
and the service.
4. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Google ML Kit (on-device text recognition; no image is sent to Google for this).
An SMS provider used to deliver one-time password (OTP) codes.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as
needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate an issue. You can ask us
to delete your account at any time (see below).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information,
including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure token-based authentication. No method
of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal
data at any time. To delete your account, email us at

or email linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will remove
your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
8. Children’s Privacy
Easy Bazar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on
this page, and we will update the “Last updated” date above.
